Portals was born from a long-held vision shared by Indra and KAIJA—two artists and healers whose individual dreams of plant-centered, somatic gatherings had been quietly taking root for years. After connecting in spring 2024, they began co-creating a space for Black and Brown people—especially women and femmes—to slow down, return to the body, and remember joy and healing through ritual, movement, and plant medicine.
